By Example
We know that "all of us possess knowledge." This "knowledge" puffs up, but love builds up. (1Cor 8:1)

Ever been frustrated trying to get your point across to someone? There was a time when I was frustrated trying to teach my wife something. I complained to the Lord: "I think that I should be able to teach her..."
I was corrected instantly- it was clear and simple: Teach by example. Christian, that's a horse of a different color. We all have a lot to learn.
Knowing things in our head doesn't mean that we have anything real to offer. But an example is hard to deny. Let's pray.
Lord Jesus, we know your word is true by your example. Thank you for not just loving us with words, but each one of us with your life. Thank you for coming to live and to walk with us- to share your heart. Help us to follow you so that your light would shine. Amen.
Today's very great and precious promise
Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth. By this we shall know that we are of the truth and reassure our heart before him (1John 3:18-19)
We have God's Word on it.
